Cannabis-sector risks we cover

  • Armed robbery and smash-and-grab

Store-front robberies and after-hours smash-and-grab on display-grade retail inventory — addressed with interior sightlines, entry vestibules, and alarm-verified patrol response.

  • Employee product diversion

Manifest vs. on-hand reconciliation, daily vault reconciliation watch, exit-screening SOPs aligned with employment agreements and labour law.

  • Regulated-vault compliance

Vault-access logging, dual-custody protocols, tamper-seal verification and closed-circuit coverage matching Health Canada's Security Directive for licensed producers.

  • Transport / chain-of-custody

Guard escort for regulated product transfers between facility, secure logistics partner and retail/hospital destination — with signed hand-off at each leg.

  • Public-facing AGCO/SQDC compliance

Age verification, no-minor enforcement, intoxicated-customer refusal and documented denial-of-sale records that stand up to inspector audits.

FAQ

Do you understand Health Canada's Security Directive for licensed producers?

Yes. Our licensed-producer posts follow the Directive on Physical Security Requirements — vault access logs, dual-custody protocols, visual-recording integrity and record-keeping periods required by Health Canada inspectors.

Are your guards PSISA or BSP licensed?

Yes, always. Every guard on a cannabis retail or production post holds a valid PSISA licence (Ontario) or BSP permit (Quebec). Licensing status is verified at hire and before every renewal cycle.

Do you provide armed escort for product transport?

We coordinate with licensed armoured-carrier partners. Our role is chain-of-custody supervision, hand-off documentation and regulated-facility escort at origin and destination. Armoured transport is subcontracted to federally-regulated carriers.

Can you respond to an after-hours alarm at a retail store?

Yes. Our mobile patrol units respond to verified alarms with a standard SLA for alarm-response posts, perform a perimeter and interior sweep with the client's key-holder if required, and produce a written incident report with photos.

Do you support regulator inspections (AGCO, SQDC, Health Canada)?

Yes. We maintain access logs, visitor registers, CCTV retention records and incident files in an inspector-ready format, and our site supervisors can be on-site during audits when requested.
